Health and Safety Measures
SMART CYPRUS TAXI has adopted a range of necessary precautions against the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading in order to maintain a safe and secured environment for passengers and drivers.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and adapt our measures as the situation evolves, ensuring a safe trip/route for both passenger and driver.
Health & Safety Protocol
- In order to thoroughly ventilate the inside of the taxi, we will drive you to your destination with the windows slightly open where possible.
- All our drivers will wear a face mask in order to avoid droplet infection.
- We have installed plastic prevention sheets in between the front and the back seats of the taxi, to avoid coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading.
- We are oftenly implementing an additional disinfecting deep clean when cleaning the inside of the taxi, sanitising also all commonly-touched surfaces of vehicles between trips and routes.
- Our drivers are obligated to undergo a temperature check before work, having also their health thoroughly checked during roll call. If there is a driver that might have a fever or other health concerns, we will stop them from going to work and/or starting a shift. Additionally, drivers are instructed to wash their hands/gargle and disinfect their hands properly and thoroughly.
- You can also help us by cooperating in wearing a face mask and refrain from having conversations as much as possible inside the taxi.You can also use hand sanitiser often, using tissues to catch coughs and sneezes disposing of them safely after exiting the vehicle.We advice you, not to travel with us if you are not feeling well or if you have any of coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, for everybody's common good.
